India's Passi bought honour for country


Mr. Padam Passi of Punjab (India) elected as a new vice president of Asia Deaf Cricket Federation in the 3rd AGM of Federation held at Lahore (Pakistan). Mr. Passi won the election and bought this honour for India. His tenure will be from 31st August 2008 to 31 August 2012. Mr. Passi said that his main aim is to uplift the standard of deaf cricketers of the country as well as Asia. According to Passi 2nd Asia cup cricket will be organised at Lahore (Pakistan) in march 2009, which will be hosted by Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association. Mr. Namdeo Kadam (Chairman) said that Mr. Passi, who is himself deaf and dumb, had been serving to deaf cricket from a long time. While Passi said, his main dream is that stadium should be full with spectators, as seen in normal cricket players match.
